Ron Paul - " staged terror attack"

Republican presidential candidate, Texan Rep. Ron Paul, appeared on the Alex Jones Radio Show and was asked to comment on Cindy Sheehan's comments that that the U.S. is in danger of a staged terror attack or a provocation of an enemy similar to the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964 before the Vietnam War.

He responded by saying that the country is in "great danger" of the U.S. government staging a terrorist attack or a Gulf of Tonkin style provocation, as the war in Iraq continues to deteriorate.

The Texas congressman offered no specifics nor mentioned President Bush by name, but he clearly insinuated that the administration would not be above staging an incident to revive flagging support. Listen here

Of course we have to have a staged terror attack or an "attack" by Iran. We have to go to war against Iran. Right now that is not popular. We need to get everyone focused on war. When we get the war fever, laws are passed faster and folks will not stand for discussion. We will be able to attack Iran in any way needed.

War with Iran is important in the staging of a position for peace in the Russia to Middle East to Africa zone. We must establish US control of all potentially rogue countries. As mentioned by several candidates, this might have to be by a preemptive nuclear strike. I hope we get to fight, too. If not there, then in other countries.
